After our original travel plans were scrapped, Olivia and I made an impulse decision to head down to the beach for the weekend. It turned out to be a great choice as we had an epic two days. Check out the vid below:
As stated, our original plan was actually to head down to Savannah, Georgia for the weekend. With the recent spike of Covid cases, particularly in the southeast, we decided to nix our plans to road trip. More and more of the restaurants and things we wanted to do were announcing re-closures, so we thought it was best to stay away for the time being. We are tentatively rescheduled to visit in July, so we’ll see how that goes.
Our beach weekend was an excellent alternative. We were super active; biked, ran, swam–we did it all. We are very fortunate to have this beautiful home to escape to, and I am super thankful for my parents for letting us stay.
We will be back at the beach for 4th of July weekend, so stay tuned for some more content from the NC coast!
